4H ACTIVITIES

4H ACTIVITIES We meet once a week starting in February; then twice a week when

school is out.. We plan several activities.

1) We will going on a day or overnight hike.

Showing Classes for the Showring

1) Showmanship

2) Obstacle Class

includes jumps, weaving, backing, a tunnel, jump,change of pace, etc.

3) Pack Class-------This class is similar to Obstacle Class, but with a Back Pack.

Learning how to tie the right type of knot while tying up our lama.

4) Costume Class is a fun class where handler and lama dress up with music and

a fabricated story. The lama probably doesn't enjoy this like the 4hers & audience.

We will also make & enter a craft item made with lama wool.This is a new project

this year and seems to be a hit.

We will plant visit a retirement center.
